We are currently seeking an organised Stores Person to join our dedicated operations team based onsite at one of our prestigious automotive OEMs.
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, the Stores Person will be responsible for the efficient management of stock in the re-work areas, ensuring accurate recording within OEM systems and supporting inspection and re-work teams.
Working hours are as follows:
- AM Shift - 06:00am – 14:30pm
- PM Shift - 14:30pm – 23:00pm
- Monday – Friday
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, storing, assembling, packing, and unpacking goods, and delivering items to the Inspection area
- Banding pallets and moving stock around the Inspection area
- Using OEM systems for stock transfers, downgrades, cancellations, and material location checks
- Completing complaint returns and managing scrap items
- Supporting Supervisors to maintain high standards across re-work areas
- Ensuring inspectors maintain process compliance, professional appearance, and housekeeping standards
- Carrying out inspection tasks when required in line with project Test Plans
- Proactively suggesting improvements and contributing to team discussions
The ideal Stores Person will have the following experience:
- Proven experience as a Stores Person or similar within production, manufacturing, logistics or engineering
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
