At G&P, we have the ability to source and deploy qualified technicians with specialist skills to join your operations team and complete a finished product assessment at the end of the production line.
If any quality issues are detected, we can also lead the fault diagnosis process and conduct repairs to achieve the customer’s required quality standard. Thanks to our unmatched talent network, we can deploy technicians across all areas of product manufacturing, including electrical, mechanical, paint and interior and exterior trim.
Electrical
Our technicians have the required qualifications to safely and efficiently support all levels of both low and high voltage electrical work. We can undertake this work, as well as fault diagnosis and rectification, in a location to suit the exacting needs of our customers; either in-plant or off-site.
Mechanical
Thanks to our extensive experience in OEM heavy repair areas, we can deliver important programmes such as engine and drivetrain replacement.
Paint
Our experienced paint technicians can repair minor bumps, scrapes, and scratches on products that may have been damaged during the production processes, repairing impacted areas to meet desired customer standards.
Interior & Exterior Trim
When it comes to rectifying products, our technicians can work either directly on the assembly line or in dedicated rework areas. In each case, issues with the interior and exterior trim can be quickly identified, assessed and reworked or replaced with a good component if rework isn’t possible.
The core purpose of this activity is to focus on absolute quality, with the ambition of achieving the following:
- Reduce warranty spikes – particularly zero and three months in service (0MIS / 3MIS)
- Ensure that previous corrective actions have been fully and correctly implemented
- Reduce stop ships and field service activities
- Prevent compliance issues from entering the market
- Help to achieve quality gate requirements
- Improve OEM customer satisfaction, brand image and cashflow
