G&P is looking for a driven and experienced Shift Manager to join our operations team on-site at our prestigious automotive OEM. This is a pivotal role where you’ll take ownership of shift operations, lead teams to success, and ensure the seamless delivery of customer projects to the highest standards.


What You’ll Be Doing

As Shift Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—coordinating people, processes, and performance to deliver excellence every day.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and organising shift operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery
  • Ensuring teams are trained, competent, and equipped to deliver projects right first time
  • Managing project setup, including Test Plans, WES, and all contractual requirements
  • Optimising shift resources, managing attendance, and driving productivity
  • Monitoring live operations and proactively resolving issues to protect delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of Supervisors and Inspection teams
  • Collaborating with Quality teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintaining accurate reporting, documentation, and performance records

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role (manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or quality environments)
  • Strong knowledge of shift management, project setup, and workforce coordination
  • A solid commitment to Health & Safety and quality standards
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • A resilient, professional, and hands-on leadership style
  • Strong IT and administrative capabilities
