If you can turn a complex quality issue into a clear, actionable Work Instruction, this role places you at the centre of a prestigious automotive manufacturer’s production environment. G&P Quality Management are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to support onsite quality operations, resolve concerns, define test plans, and document solutions that teams can follow with confidence.

The Opportunity

In this fast‑paced, high‑precision environment, you’ll work closely with the onsite quality team to investigate issues involving components, materials, or processes. You’ll lead containment activity, support problem resolution, define structured test plans, and create high‑quality Work Instructions that ensure consistent, repeatable quality actions across the shopfloor.

You’ll act as a key link between Quality, Production, Engineering, and Suppliers—ensuring every action is clearly understood, accurately documented, and effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality concern management across the shopfloor
  • Create and maintain clear, accurate Work Instructions (WES/WIS)
  • Conduct FMEA risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues
  • Define structured test plans to validate components, processes, and corrective actions
  • Implement new or improved processes for long‑term quality improvement
  • Communicate quality actions with internal teams and suppliers
  • Log and track issues using ERP/SAP systems
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings; perform basic measurement checks

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Quality Technician or Senior Quality Inspector
  • Strong background in quality containment and problem resolution
  • Skilled in writing Work Instructions and method statements
  • Experience defining and executing test plans
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/ERP experience advantageous
  • Reliable, detail‑focused, and flexible with additional shifts when required
