Are you an experienced NADCAP professional looking for your next contract opportunity? We are seeking a hands-on NADCAP Project Lead / Quality Systems Consultant to take ownership of an established implementation programme and drive it through to successful accreditation readiness.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing advanced manufacturing business where a full gap analysis has already been completed, with 21 defined work packages requiring closure. You'll be responsible for leading the programme, embedding NADCAP requirements across the business, and ensuring audit readiness.
The Role
You will take the lead on the NADCAP programme, working closely with quality, engineering, operations, and laboratory teams to develop and implement robust processes, procedures, and controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the overall NADCAP implementation plan
- Driving closure of 21 identified work packages
- Developing and implementing business-wide procedures and process controls
- Embedding NADCAP requirements across operational functions
- Reviewing and standardising documentation, policies, and work instructions
- Supporting software programme control procedures
- Improving training management processes for special processes
- Developing laboratory management procedures and controls
- Strengthening quality systems governance
- Preparing the business for NADCAP audits and accreditation activities
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Proven hands-on experience delivering NADCAP implementation projects
- Strong understanding of NADCAP accreditation requirements and auditor expectations
- A background in quality systems, compliance, and process improvement
- Experience creating procedures, policies, and work instructions
- The ability to work independently and quickly add value
Desirable Experience
- Aerospace, defence, or advanced manufacturing environments
- Special process accreditation experience
- Laboratory management systems knowledge
- AS9100 experience
