We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to join our dedicated Quality Management team at G&P. This role supports a prestigious British high-performance automotive manufacturer and is based on-site in Woking.


Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead a team of 5-10 Inspectors while supporting quality activities across the site. This is a hands-on role, with a strong focus on writing and maintaining Work Instructions/SOPs/Test Plans, alongside driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.


Working hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 06:00am - 14:00pm


Flexibility may occasionally be required to support overtime at the end of shifts.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Writing and maintaining Work Instructions, SOPs, and Test Plans.
  • Leading and supporting a team of 5-10 Quality Inspectors.
  • Conducting Level Zero investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Planning and coordinating inspection activities.
  • Carrying out layered audits and process conformance checks.
  • Driving corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensuring teams have the correct tools, PPE, and documentation.
  • Supporting hands-on inspection activities where required.


The ideal Quality Supervisor will have:

  • Supervisory or team leadership experience within quality, manufacturing, or automotive environments.
  • Experience writing Work Instructions, SOPs, Test Plans, or similar documentation.
  • Experience investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Knowledge of layered audits and process compliance.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills


Nice to have, but not essential:

  • Quality inspection experience.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Relevant quality or manufacturing qualifications.
