G&P is seeking an experienced and driven Plant Manager to lead operations at our Debrecen site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for plant performance, team leadership, and customer delivery in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and customer expectations are consistently met
- Drive process improvement, efficiency, and resource planning
- Build strong customer relationships and support business growth opportunities
- Oversee project delivery, KPI performance, audits, and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure all staff are trained, compliant, and operating to required standards
- Manage reporting, systems (QTrak), and operational data accuracy
- Support Finance, Admin, and HR functions including workforce planning and development
Leadership
You will lead a multi-level team including Coordinators, Supervisors, Shift Managers, and Quality personnel, while working closely with Sales, Quality, Finance, and HR teams.
About You
- Proven experience in a Plant Manager or senior operations role
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Analytical, organised, and solutions-focused
- IT literate (SAP preferred)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, customer-driven environments
