The Role
The Parts Quality Coordinator provides support to the Inventory & QSB Manager by ensuring the parts which get dispatched worldwide are free of quality defects. The role covers the full spectrum from being the sensor of the quality issues to making sure the parts are checked and the stock corrected.
The standard operating hours are Monday to Friday 06:30 to 15:00 with the occasional extended day around business requirements which will be pre-approved and communicated*.
The role is based at the Aftersales Warehouse in the TLC in Bognor Regis. Occasional visits to Plant Goodwood and to our central warehouse in Northampton may be necessary.

Key accountabilities
· Create parts inspection base data from the QCAT system – looking up aftersales-relevant series quality issues
· Act as a sensor for potential parts quality issues from all relevant aftersales sources (material control, supply chain quality, dealer ordering team, technical team, accessories team, warehouses, etc.)
· Record and track all aftersales related quality issues in the tracking file (use of QCAT for aftersales is under investigation)
· Managing and creating the inspection plans and process for parts and part programmers within the lead-time
· Liaison with the series Parts Quality department to establish root causes and align actions with series
· Ensure clear communication with the wider Aftersales Parts Operations team to ensure awareness of the upcoming inspections and activities.
· Check for parts quality relevant aftersales stock in SAP and UKPS
· Arrange movement of parts in SAP to inspection location and block parts for inspection
· Make sure the physical quality inspection of RR Aftersales parts takes place on time and with a clear output on OK/NOK status
· Release OK parts back into SAP stock
· Put forward the NOK parts to WH management for decision making
· If required take the issues back to the supplier for discussion then raise supplier notification for recovery of costs.
· Can read DZA drawing files & utilize effectively for creation of SRI.
· Manage and record own time to be able to understand utilization/efficiency.
· Able to discuss parts quality related findings with supplier base
· Any other duties for which the CP Team holds the appropriate skills.
Desirable
· Full UK/EU driving license
· Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Ability to create and develop reports
· SAP system knowledge advantageous
