We are seeking an experienced Painting Line Manager to take full ownership of production and operations in our paint shop. In this key leadership role, you will ensure safe, stable, and efficient running of the painting line, lead and develop a skilled team, and continuously improve quality and process performance.

About the Role:


As Painting Line Manager, you will manage the entire painting line production process, from planning and organizing shifts to ensuring quality standards and operational KPIs are met. You will lead operators, team leaders, and technical staff, coordinating closely with maintenance, programming, and quality teams. Your proactive leadership will drive process stability, safety, and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Production and Operations Management:

  • Ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation of the painting line
  • Plan, organize, and control production schedules including shift operations
  • Manage capacity and meet daily/weekly production targets
  • Lead operators, team leaders, and technical personnel

2. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the Painting Line Expert and support teams (robot programmers, paint preparers, maintenance)
  • Drive team motivation, training, and professional development
  • Define work standards and ensure compliance across all roles

3. Process Stability and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure painted parts meet internal and customer quality standards
  • Approve process adjustments, review documentation, and control plans
  • Collaborate with quality teams on internal issues and customer claims
  • Manage KPIs including scrap rate, OEE, rework, and downtime

4. Technical and Process Responsibility:

  • Maintain stable painting parameters and ensure robotic stations function correctly
  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance for painting equipment
  • Support implementation of new technologies, paints, and products
  • Collaborate with suppliers of equipment, robotics, chemicals, and materials

5. Safety, Cleanliness, and Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and chemical handling protocols
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and control standards
  • Participate in internal and customer audits

6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and lower scrap rates
  • Implement LEAN tools such as 5S, standardization, SMED, and Kaizen
  • Engage actively in digitalization and automation projects

Candidate Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of plastic painting processes: surface preparation, paint types, curing, mixing systems, and quality measurement
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation and process parameters
  • Practical experience with defect analysis (e.g., orange peel, dust, bubbles, surface unevenness)
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to safety, environmental standards, and continuous improvement


Working Hours:

  • Single shift, 40 hours/week
  • Immediate start
