Operations Team Leader

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for all OEM containments in Body in White (BIW)

G&P Ltd are a leading supplier of Total Quality Management Services to the Automotive and Aerospace industries. We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to work within our body in white department. Working on-site at one of our most remarkable Automotive Clients, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

The Team Leader will be responsible for the following:

• Managing the team
• Supporting the Supervisor with achievements and expectations
• Carrying out & running BMW sorting actions
• Overseeing any inspection area when required
• Supporting on the set up of customer sorting actions.
• Communication between the team, Supervisors and Plant Manager
• Training & auditing live sorting actions.
• always Ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• IT packages & Computer Literate is desirable.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong leadership experience within a Manufacturing/Warehouse/Automotive type environment.
• An automotive background would be desirable, but any manufacturing background would be considered as long as the individual has strong leadership skills.
• You will be organized
• resilient and have the ability to think outside the box.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Working hours/schedule:

Mornings

Mon-Thurs 6:00am-14:00pm

Fri 06:00am – 12:00pm

Afternoon

Mon-Thurs 14:00pm-11:00pm

Fri 12:00pm – 18:00pm

(Shift allowance of 25% payrate increase after 22:00pm)

Expected start date: ASAP
