We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our exceptional quality management team at a world-class manufacturing site, renowned for its high-performance diesel and gas engines.

Working hours are:
- Mon - Fri - 06:00am - 15:00pm
- Overtime available on weekends
Although a permanent AM shift, flexibility is required around shift work, as there is a possibility of a 2 shift pattern in the future.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Supervisor will organise the hour-to-hour operations of nominated projects or areas. You will work alongside other Team Leaders to form an autonomous, high-performing team. Your role is both operational and administrative, supporting project setup, quality assurance, and layered audits.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organise and manage daily project operations, ensuring teams work safely and efficiently in line with Test Plans.
- Support Team Leaders with inspections, resource allocation, and project setup.
- Ensure Inspectors have correct tooling, PPE, materials, and maintain stock and calibration.
- Conduct layered audits, address deviations, and maintain compliance with Test Plans.
- Oversee supplier supervision, Quality system updates, and daily reporting/administrative tasks.
- Promote continuous improvement and support the development of Inspectors.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.
- Highly computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to resolve issues quickly, professionally, and proactively.
- Resilient, detail-oriented, and capable of thinking critically to improve processes.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with quality management systems.
- Knowledge of writing work instructions or standard operating procedures.
