About The Company
Our Client is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Mechanical & Hydraulic Power Presses, Press Feeds and Coil Handling Equipment.
They are a family run and owned business which, for nearly fifty years, has specialised in the supply, purchase and disposal of used manufacturing equipment from single machines to complete factory clearances offering Asset Disposal Solutions for all types of industrial equipment.
They offer a full range of high quality, CE Approved mechanical power presses (new and used), hydraulic presses, press feeding, coil handling, toolroom equipment & CNC machinery.
About the role
If successful you will be involved in various aspects of the business from refurbishment of machinery and instillation of new and used equipment.
The ideal maintenance service engineer will have:
· Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
· Knowledge of servicing and maintenance of power presses and other related equipment.
· A solid understanding of electrical systems.
· The ability to read technical drawing and schematics.
Desirable Skills:
You should hold relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and possess knowledge of current health and safety regulations relating to power presses.
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the willingness to travel to customer sites are also required.
