We are seeking Industrial Training Instructors to join a global aerospace leader, delivering high-quality, certified training programs across multiple UK manufacturing sites. This role is critical to maintaining operational safety, legal compliance, and workforce competence.

Training Locations and Schedule:

  • Flexible delivery schedule based on courses across UK sites
  • Primarily Chester (75% of courses), with additional locations including Bristol, Portsmouth, Brize Norton, and Stevenage


Role Overview:

The Health & Safety Industrial Training Instructor will deliver high-quality training programs in specific disciplines, ensuring compliance with UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements, regulatory standards, and organisational procedures. You will enable personnel to operate equipment safely, reduce workplace incidents, and support continuous improvement in operational safety.


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver certified training programs across one or more disciplines, including but not limited to:

Tugging and Towing Equipment

Manual Equipment Handling

First Aid (including MHFA)

Asbestos Awareness

Confined Space

Working at Height

Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Risk Assessor

PUWER 98 Risk Assessor Training

Safety in Potentially Explosive Environments

Liquid Nitrogen Introduction

UV Awareness

CONDO Training

  • Ensure all training programs meet regulatory, accreditation, and company standards
  • Maintain accurate records of training delivery, attendance, and competency outcomes
  • Support operational safety initiatives and continuous improvement within manufacturing operations


The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience delivering Health & Safety or industrial training in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or similar environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills
  • Professional, proactive, and safety-focused attitude


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
  • Ability to deliver multiple courses across other disciplines (Forklift Trucks, MEWPS, Health & Safety, Aircraft Specific Equipment, Overhead Cranes, Handling Equipment)
  • Familiarity with UK HSE regulations and industry safety standards


This role is available on a contract or permanent basis with progression opportunities available.
