Overhead Crane Industrial Training Instructor


About the Role


We’re seeking experienced and qualified Industrial Training Instructors to join a global aerospace manufacturing organisation, delivering high-quality training across multiple UK sites.

As an Overhead Crane Industrial Training Instructor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that operational teams are fully trained, safe, and compliant with all relevant legislation. You’ll deliver certified training that meets UK HSE and industry standards, helping to maintain safety, legal compliance, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver professional, accredited training sessions in one or more of the following areas:
  • Overhead Crane Operation
  • Slinging
  • Banksman Duties
  • Ensure all training complies with GS39, BS7121, PUWER 1998, and LOLER 1998 standards.
  • Assess and certify operators, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement in safety culture and training delivery.


Required Qualifications & Experience


  • Proven experience delivering Overhead Crane or related lifting operations training.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • GS39
  • BS7121
  • PUWER 1998
  • LOLER 1998
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills.
  • Ability to adapt training to meet site-specific and regulatory requirements.
