G&P’s aerospace industry accreditation

As part of our ongoing commitment and offering to OEMs and their supply chain within the aerospace industry, we are delighted to announce that G&P is a fully accredited supplier to the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR).

This important accreditation demonstrates G&P’s firm commitment to the aerospace industry and cements our position as a trusted supplier who has undergone a series of rigorous background checks and audits.

JOSCAR is a collaborative tool used by the aerospace, defence and security industries to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. Using JOSCAR can determine if a supplier, such as G&P, is “fit for business”. Essentially it acts as a reference directory for buyers within the industry and allows them to search for suppliers effectively, with the confidence that they have been pre-vetted, approved and checked.

JOSCAR is partnered with a third-party risk management and information supplier, meaning that background checks and audits of suppliers are carried out efficiently. JOSCAR uses a multisectoral analysis covering companies’ capabilities, level of information security, ethical, social and communal responsibility, financial history and other accreditations.

As the information provided during the assessment for this accreditation must be faultless, any company that displays the JOSCAR accreditation can be trusted as a “fit for business” supplier. Not only does the accreditation provide manufacturers and tiered suppliers with the confidence about suppliers, it also helps improve efficiency within the procurement process.
