Meet The Team – Flora Ni, HR specialist

Having worked as an HR specialist at G&P for six years, Flora, is well known to many within the company having worked with, or liaised with them, across a range of HR, and learning and development initiatives.

Indeed, learning and development is one of Flora’s passions and key motivators. It’s also one of the reasons she chose a career in human resources which has already spanned more than a decade, working in a variety of industries including automotive, internet / e-commerce and advertising.

Along with her passion for the role, it’s this experience which makes her such a valuable asset to G&P. Managing a number of responsibilities including employee relationships, Flora is an advocate of lifelong learning, a value she enthuses to her colleagues and is shared by the company itself.

“G&P provides people with a stable working environment, but also a place where you can learn and develop. For me, it’s not just a job, it’s a place where people can come for a career and that’s a real difference and incredibly important to me on a personal level,” comments Flora.

In her role at G&P, Flora is not only seeking to develop others, but also has progression ambitions of her own, hoping to eventually progress to the position of HR manager.

Of course, life’s not all about work, and outside of G&P Flora takes great enjoyment from both reading and travelling. She’s also a keen e-sports fan, a hobby she admits that most of her colleagues might be surprised about. And with an appreciation for the finer things in life, Flora’s favourite holiday destination is Switzerland and while day-to-day she drives an Audi A3, her dream car is a Pagani.
