ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS & MODULE INSPECTION
The G&P Group works closely with Clients to maximise production line efficiency, by ensuring any quality spills are quickly and effectively resolved. This service, which is optimised by G&P’s stringent controls, processes and audits, is flexible and can be seamlessly delivered at any location.
INCOMING PART INSPECTION (IPI)
To prevent disruption, G&P offers a suite of incoming part inspection services, that can detect defective parts before they reach the production line. Through the use of tablet technology, this service also provides real-time data analytics and feedback regarding ongoing supplier quality trends.
PROACTIVE INSPECTION (PAC)
For new launches, G&P can ensure that all critical parts are fully inspected, prior to reaching the OEM factory. This ensures that the OEM pilot and initial builds are totally safeguarded against defective parts from known suspect suppliers.
NON CONFORMANCE MANAGEMENT (NCM)
G&P technicians work with Client's production teams to identify the root cause of production line non-conforming parts. Findings are then either handed over to the OEM’s internal quality department, or arrangements are made to liaise with the suppliers concerned for further root cause analysis and interim containment actions.
G&P offers a specialist containment service, supplying data and analytic's regarding part rejections, as and when they occur, as well as managing the suspect supplier notification process. This service ensures that Client quality teams can focus on other value-added activities, while G&P manages the disruptions.
Most Clients aim to drive defective part containment back to the root source, for maximum cost and time efficiencies. With its global footprint, G&P is able to offer Clients this service across a supply chain, regardless of the location, in the most efficient way possible, through its network of local inspection teams
Body in White Inspection (BIW)
Our Specialist BIW technicians are able to support OEM's and Supplier Press Shops with detailed examinations of ferrous, aluminium and carbon fibre panels against required parameters.
Warranty Independent Testing
By using G&P Warranty Management services, OEM's and their suppliers can outsource their warranty analysis activities. As a result, the OEM’s engineering resource can be deployed to other core manufacturing areas.
After Sales Components Inspection
The G&P group works closely with OEM's and their first tiers to assure the quality of components supplied to the after market distributors. All inspections are carried out in accordance with G&P’s stringent processes and are subject to a thorough, multi-layered auditing.
Batch & Hold
The Batch and Hold process has been developed to ensure that, at the start of a vehicle launch or major facelift, the required quality levels are stringently upheld. G&P will inspect selected vehicles against a pre-defined vehicle checklist, with any deviations reported to the OEM Quality Department for analysis and to establish the required re-work.
