Introduction:

This Policy is intended to provide information to you concerning what G&P Group do with any information (which includes personal information – “data” about you) that may come to us or which may be collected by us.

You will see on our website found at www.gpqm.com that information including your personal data may come to us because you are a visitor to our website, or because you are contacting us by email or other communications method.

 

Visitors to our website:

When you visit www.gpqm.com we collect information which helps us to identify visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We will not compile and amalgamate any data gathered from this website with any information from other sources.

The information from our site visitors is gathered in such a way so that it is not information which identifies anyone. We will not attempt to find out the identity of a person who visited our website.

 

Applications for Opportunities:

If you apply for an opportunity to work with us, you are invited to send your CV. We will only use the information that you send us in connection with your application and to monitor recruitment statistics.

We may want to disclose some of your information to a third party, for example, in taking up references. Where this is to happen we will not provide your information to that party unless you have specifically authorised us to do so.

If you are submitting a CV to us please accompany it with a specific instruction that we may contact your referees. We will not be able to process your application until we have your permission.

If you are unsuccessful in obtaining a position with us, we will retain your information for 12 months. After that we will destroy the information and / or ensure that any version of it is deleted.

If the position you are applying for is out of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), we will need to have your clear written instruction that we may transfer any information about you to one of our business interests outside of the EEA.

If you intend to include any information concerning your personal health then please recognise that that is sensitive personal data. You will need to explicitly agree to our receiving such data either in a covering letter (if you are posting information to us) or in a covering email (if you are are sending information by email to us). Without that explicit permission we may not process that data about you.

 

Cookies:

A cookie is usually a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user’s web browser while a user is browsing a website. When the user browses the same website in the future, the data stored in the cookie can be retrieved by the website to notify the website of the user’s previous activity Cookies are widely used in order to provide us with information concerning the website.

We use Google Analytics to count the number of people who use the site and to provide information about their use of it. We do this to make sure that our website is operating properly and to help us work out when we need to make changes to it.

Google say that the cookies use in their analytics systems do not identify people.

Most web browsers allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings. If you decline cookies then we will not be able to count your site usage in the information we gather about use of the site although you will still be able to use it.

We embed videos from our unlisted YouTube channel which may set cookies on your computer when you click on the YouTube video player, but YouTube will not store personally-identifiable cookie information for playbacks of embedded videos in the mode we have used to play videos.
